End User License Agreement
Please read this agreement carefully before installing or using any SIR Audio Tools software product.
1. Grant of License
SIR Audio Tools grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the purchased software on multiple devices that belong to you, for your personal or professional use, provided the devices are used by you alone. If several people need to use the software at the same time, an additional license key is required for each additional user.
If you wish to resell your license privately, our current license-transfer conditions are available on request at support@siraudiotools.com.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- Redistribute, rent, or sublicense the software or your license key (private resale is possible under our transfer conditions — see section 1).
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
- Remove or alter any copyright or license notices.
- Let several people use a single license at the same time; each additional user requires their own license key.
3. Demo Versions
Demo versions may be freely distributed and used for evaluation purposes. Demo versions may contain limitations (e.g. noise, periodic pauses of silence (mute), restricted features) and must not be used in commercial productions.
4. Updates
Minor updates (bug fixes, compatibility improvements) within a major version are provided free of charge. Major version upgrades may be offered at a reduced upgrade price.
5. Intellectual Property
The software and all accompanying materials are the intellectual property of SIR Audio Tools. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
6. Warranty
The software is provided as is; warranties are excluded except where mandatory by law.
7. Liability
We exclude liability for any damage arising from the use of or inability to use the software, except where liability is mandatory by law.
8. Governing Law
German law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Bielefeld, as far as legally permissible.
9. Severability & Precedence
If any provision is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Mandatory statutory law prevails over any conflicting term. This text is provided in good faith and may contain errors, for which no liability is accepted.
